Happy independence day Nigeria

 

Happy independence to my country Nigeria. This is a late post because it could have been up since October the 1st( I have no excuse) but anyway it's still up now. I have a little poem (here) for my awesome country Nigeria. Despite the challenges we are facing in this country, it's still my country and no one can take that away from me. 

So I did the independence day shoot with a friend who also has a blog with this post already up on (ddtheshopper.com) . It was amazing working with her. So I wore a white dress I've had for over a year now. It's quite random from my wardrobe but it was perfect for the desired style shot.

I'm a lover of black and white. personally i believe monochrome never goes wrong. I love this little black tailored dress with the white details. I went with white pumps for a match anyway but as it is, this dress can be worn with any color of shoe( i know you want to think colors right now) but yes it can be worn with any color one feels comfortable in.

Sorry i got so excited, how are you this weekend and how was your week? mine was packed but nevertheless I'm here anyway.

Who says the weekends can't be fly... when I have been so seriously dressed up all week, I love to put on some simple and yet chic little dress on the weekends. I'm in love with this boyfriend Tee shirt. Always makes a girl feel like a baby which is a good feeling anyway...  Welcome to a new week awesome people, I had an amazing weekend by the way, I'm really trying hard to perfect my cake baking. I made chocolate cake, red velvet cake and hot-milk cake... They weren't bad at all but still needs improvement (hehe), how was your weekend?
